The Hypeness Project: ULTRA - DAY 3 - The Barriers

I feel like such a legend right about now! It is my third day and I am on my fourth chapter of the Hypeness Project: ULTRA. For those who are following the blog....follow me on twitter or facebook also...

I say this because I'm finding it way too burdensome to write a book, and still find time to maintain a blog. So if you wish to see how I am doing on this adventurous quest, then follow me on one of the above dear readers! The real reason I wrote this blog is because I wanted to share something interesting with you guys. On my way home, Something happened at Sudbury Hill train station that automatically triggered off a short-story in me. The story took me a bus-ride to write. It's not long and it has NOTHING to do with the Hypeness Project, but still give it a read and see what you think.

The Hypeness Project: ULTRA - DAY 1

What can I say dear readers, the first day of the Hypeness project was a crazy one. I started writing it at 00:07 am in the morning. My whole intention was to make the first chapter as entertaining as possible. Before writing time started, I was already charged off Muhammed Ali speeches and Def Jam poetry clips off YouTube. I wanted to merge story telling with some sense of poetry in the first chapter which I thought I was doing at the time.

It was only when I woke up when I realised that most of what I wrote earlier that morning was 75% gibberish and couldnt be used seeing that I was too tired. Thats when it dawned on me that can NEVER write a first draft and then release it straight after. This would mean I would have to write my first draft in possibly 6 days, and use the extra 6 to correct things.
{this looks like an image a failed nerd would take}
Today was one of those special days because not only did my 16+ oyster come in the post, but the book I waited MONTHS for arrived in the post. It is a poetry book written by my dear friend Kamille Vassell. I read the first few poems and was automatically hooked. Check the book out here. She's an awesome writer.

On the way to south, I was listening to David Axlerod. Admittedly I did not like his album until today. It was one of those jazz albums you needed to be in the mood to listen to.

I finished writing the first chapter on the train on my way to Brixton. It was moments later where i went to live magazine to talk to a good friend about the book. But it was also the place where I created a tumblr for the hypeness project, so I can continue to post content as the days go by.

www.thehypenessproject.tumblr.com - I'm such a tease aint I?

But yeah, the philosophy is to work hard play hard....even though I wasn't writing all day, I managed to get two chapters completed. Now I am on to my third chapter. It's looking good dear readers

The Hypeness Project: ULTRA

There are may mad things a young person can do in their small blimp of a life...but writing a book in twelve days is utter madman-talks.

That's why it is called the Hypeness Project.

But the talks are true. From the 18th - 29th October I, Andre ZoOm Anderson, will attempt to write a whole book in the space of twelve days.

The name of the Hypeness Project is going to be called ULTRA - a word not normally used to describe utter awesome-ness. You see, I consider myself to be a superhero, and I know a lot of superheroes personally. Spiderman grew up in my estate, I met Bruce Banner at a bar once, and  Super Mario was my plumber before his mushroom addiction. Seeing I know all of these superheroes I felt I needed to write a book about it... a pretty interesting story layout for a book that is going to be written in twelve days eh?

ULTRA is going to be a major challange for me...but I shall endure...I shall be Ultra! Make sure you spread the word around. Tell your friends. Tell your friends to tell their friends. Watch me either fail or succeed as I attempt to get a book finished, edited, proof-read,designed, and print-ready in only 12 days!!
Woooooooooooooowzerrrrr

Stay ULTRA peoples.

TeamJESUS reflects on ZoOm

I tell you no lie young readers.
When it comes to the bussing of joke and just straight up having

a good time…My best memories reside with TeamJESUS

You can call me a church boy. You can even call me a Beulah baby -born and bred. But there is no doubt that Christianity has affected a huge part of what I do and who I am. In terms of the brand TeamJESUS, I knew these guys from day dot. I grew up with this team…they are the only reason why I stay sane at times.

Seeing the company move from its baby stages to where it is now, I have learnt many lessons from these guys. One thing is that you must always see the enjoyable side of things. I have been to so many photoshoots where it is just dull and draining. When I'm with the team, whether we are going on a road trip or a executing a photoshoot…it has never felt like work. TeamJESUS is not just a trademark we stamp on polos - it is a lifestyle. Our whole aim is to build a curiosity for Christ.

TeamJESUS and ZOOM4YOU stay separate but the mindsets are oh so similar. Being with the team I have learnt that there is much more to this than just creating nice pictures; it is about the meaning behind it. What do you plan to change with this project? How can you make an impact on the minds of your generation through this one photograph?

With all epic-ness aside, I'll be truthful and say I wasn't thinking that when I done this photoshoot. The full photoshoot had three photographers; one would include the infamous Starlight imagery. The other photographer is my bonified big brutha from another baby mother Reon Stewart. Unfortunately Starlight had to do a re-shoot because he saw my photos and got nervous. But pray for him dear readers; he will grow confidence in his craft one day.

To me this was just another day with the family, but I felt that I needed to share this one with you guys. You know our relationship is getting serious when I start showing you the family members.

In the faithful words of Liam Callaway "iRep TeamJESUS till I DIE!"
Stay Bless Always
